Dr. Richard F. Logan Scholarship provides financial assistance to upper-division students from any state majoring in geography at colleges and universities in southern California.

Requirements

This program is open to upper-division students from any state currently enrolled at 4-year colleges and universities in southern California (defined as the area south of the 36th parallel).

Applicants must be majoring in geography and have completed at least 5 upperdivision courses in that discipline.

They must have a GPA of at least 3.0 overall and 3.5 in geography courses.

Selection is based on merit; financial need is not considered.

Students who are not already members of the Los Angeles Geographical Society must join in order to apply.
