The Dutton Schilling Scholarship is available to students at the University of North Florida who engage in part-time employment. Students who have a Homeless Tuition Waiver or a Department of Children and Families Tuition Waiver are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students who were or are clients of JASMYN or Port in the Storm Homeless Youth Center and who produce documentation from one of the two agencies. Recipients will be expected to enroll in the Nesting program.

Requirements

Resident of Florida

Attend the University of North Florida

Undergraduate student

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Fulltime student

Work a minimum of six hours per week

Have a Homeless Tuition Waiver or a Department of Children and Families Tuition Waiver

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who were or are clients of JASMYN or Port in the Storm Homeless Youth Center and who produce documentation from one of the two agencies.
