The E. Bartlett Barnes Award of Journalism is available to residents of Bristol, Burlington, and Plymouth in Connecticut. Students planning to pursue an associate or bachelor's degree in journalism, media-related communications, creative writing, and/or related studies are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their academic achievement, good citizenship, and demonstration of leadership.
