The Early Childhood Educators Scholarship Program is available to residents of Massachusetts who are currently employed early childhood and out-of-school-time educators and providers. Students pursuing a degree program in early childhood education or related programs are eligible to apply. Recipients agree to continue employment as an early childhood educator or provider in Massachusetts upon completing the degree requirement.

  • Resident of Massachusetts
  • High school graduate or GED recipient
  • Seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree
  • Studying for a degree in early childhood education, family studies, policy and practice, education entrepreneurship, or related field
  • Planning to attend school in Massachusetts
  • Employed for at least six months, as an educator or provider in an early education and care program or out of school time program
  • U.S. citizen, FAFSAeligible non-citizen, or not a U.S. citizen
  • Not be in default of any federal or state student loans
