East Coast Amateur Radio Service (ECARS) Scholarship provides financial assistance to licensed radio amateurs from the service area of the East Coast Amateur Radio Service (ECARS) who are working on an undergraduate degree in any field.

Requirements
  • This program is open to licensed radio amateurs of technician class or higher who are working full-time on an undergraduate degree at a 2- or 4-year college, university, or trade school in any state.
  • Applicants must reside within the coverage area of ECARS, which includes the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Atlantic Division (Delaware, Maryland, western and northern New York, southern New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C.), Great Lakes Division (Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio), Hudson Division (Long Island, New York City, northern New Jersey, and eastern New York), New England Division (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont), and Roanoke Division (North Carolina, South Caroline, Virginia, and West Virginia).
