Edison Scholars Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in the service area of Southern California Edison (SCE) who plan to major in designated fields of STEM at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating seniors who attend public or private high schools in an area served by SCE. Applicants must be planning to enroll full-time at an accredited 4-year college or university in any state and major in computer and information systems, engineering, engineering technology, management information systems, mathematics, natural resources and conservation, and physical sciences.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have met the placement standards for entrylevel baccalaureate course work, including acceptable ACT or SAT scores.
  • Preference is given to students who are firstgeneration college students and those who have overcome significant obstacles and challenges.
  • Selection is based on academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations, challenging personal or family circumstances, an outside appraisal, and financial need.
