The Edith Whitney/Spokane Alumnae Chapter Scholarship is open to members of Kappa Alpha Theta at designated chapters in the northwestern United States. Members pursuing an undergraduate degree are encouraged to apply. If no qualifying member applies, the award is available to freshmen members of those chapters pursuing an undergraduate degree or senior or alumnae members of those chapters pursuing a graduate degree. If no freshman, senior, or alumna member of those chapters applies, the award is available to any member of Kappa Alpha Theta who lives in the greater Spokane, Washington area. If no Spokane resident applies, the award is available to any Kappa Alpha Theta member pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
