The Educational Benefits for Children of Deceased Veterans and Others is available to residents of Delaware seeking a postsecondary education. Children of members of the armed forces, state police, or state employees of the Department of Transportation who died in service, or are declared missing in action or POW, are eligible to apply. Students who are ages 16-24 will be considered.

Requirements

Child of a member of the armed forces and a Delaware resident who died serving, declared missing in action, or being held or was held as a prisoner of war **or**

Child of a state police officer or state employee of the Department of Transportation who died serving

Resident of Delaware (minimum 3 years)

Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree from a college or university in Delaware or an outof-state college if no institution in Delaware offering the program of study

U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident

Aged 16 to 24
