The Edward Yoshiharu Sakuma & Kay Kubo Sakuma Education Honors Scholarship is a need-based program for students committed to teaching in the Hawai'i public school system. Special consideration is given to renewal applicants and students attending the University of Hawai'i - Manoa, the University of Missouri - Columbia, or the Teachers College at Columbia University, those who graduated from a public high school in Hawaii, studying education, or intending to teach mathematics or science.
