The Elaine Fjelstad Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating seniors from Viroqua and De Soto high schools in Wisconsin. Students planning to pursue an associate or bachelor's degree in education, English, history, literature, or a STEM-related field are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their strong academic standing and participation in activities that involve working with children. Special consideration may be given to students pursuing education or elementary education.
