The Elena Albano Maka'alohilohi Scholarship is awarded to adults who are in recovery from a mental health, behavioral, or psychological disability and are pursuing a traditional or vocational education program. Recipients who demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply. Candidates with Hawaiian ancestry or renewal applicants are given special consideration.
