The Elena Pedersen Scholarship supports graduating seniors from the Gunnison Watershed School District in Colorado who demonstrate financial need. Students who are immigrants, children of immigrants, or first-generation college students and plan to pursue a professional certification, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree are encouraged to apply.

Minimum 2.50 GPA

Resident of the U.S.

Attending Gunnison or Gunnison Valley high schools in Gunnison, Crested Butte Community School in Crested Butte, or Marble Charter School in Marble, Colorado

High school senior

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree

Participation in community service or extracurricular activities

Immigrant, child of an immigrant, or firstgeneration college student
