Elizabeth Lewis Memorial Scholarship

About the Scholarship

The Elizabeth Lewis Memorial Scholarship is for junior students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale who are graduates of a high school in Jackson County, Illinois. Applicants are continuing students or incoming transfer students from John A. Logan College. Students who demonstrate moral and intellectual stability, kindness, appreciation, concern for the welfare of others, moderation in habits, thriftiness, and a genuine interest in SIU are eligible to apply.
