The Empowerment Scholarship is for graduates of the ‘Imi Ho’ola Post-Baccalaureate Program of the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). Students who demonstrate financial need are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to renewal candidates, students who received the ‘Imi Ho’ola Leadership Scholarship at Hawai'i Community Foundation, and to female students.
