The Environmental Research & Education Foundation (EREF) awards scholarships to students pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in solid waste management, which includes municipal solid waste, construction and demolition waste, industrial waste (e.g., coal ash), and WTE ash. Scholarships are based on academic performance, professional experience, relevance to solid waste management science, and potential for success.
