ESE 4-H Beef Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and college students who have participated in the Eastern States Exposition 4-H beef program and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to members of 4-H who are residents of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont.
  • Applicants must have participated in the Eastern States Exposition (the Big E) 4H Beef Program.
  • They must be planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college or university, professional training, a technical school, an apprenticeship program, or other postsecondary institution in any state.
  • Selection is based on that essay (40%), a number of years of Big E 4H beef program participation (20%), secondary school (10%), leadership experiences in 4-H, FFA, or other church and school activities (20%), honors and awards (10%).
