Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from public high schools in New Jersey who plan to attend an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, or vocational/technical school in any state.
  • Applicants must submit an essay describing the hardships and challenges they have faced and the impact of those on them.
  • Selection is based on academic record, educational experience, involvement and accomplishments in school leadership activities and community service, and 2 online recommendations.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process, but it is used to determine the amount of the stipend.
