Requirements

This program is open to undergraduate and graduate students in rehabilitation, education, law, or other fields of service or advocacy for persons with disabilities.

Applicants must be legally blind in both eyes.

A cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher is generally required.

Financial need is not considered in the selection process.

Preference is given to students with little or no vision.

The scholarship winner is expected to be present at the council's annual national convention; the council will cover all reasonable costs connected with convention attendance.
