Requirements
  • This program is open to registered nurses in North Carolina who are interested in pursuing additional education at the baccalaureate, master's, or doctoral level on a part-time basis.
  • Applicants must be North Carolina residents (for at least 12 months prior to application), must be admitted to a program in North Carolina offering a nursing degree on the baccalaureate, master's, or Ph.D. level, must be enrolled part time but for at least 6 hours per semester, and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Selection is based on that essay (25%), GPA (10%), professional nursing and leadership involvement (25%), community involvement (10%), honors and awards (5%), certifications (15%), and letters of reference (10%).
