Requirements
  • This program is open to active and student AHIMA members who have been Texas residents for at least 1 year.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited Texas educational program that leads to RHIA or RHIT certification.
  • They must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
  • Selection is based on an essay of 350 to 400 words about their personal goals (50 points) and financial need (50 points).
