The Everette H. and Edith P. Griffin Memorial Scholarship is available to students who have a documented visual impairment or deafness to attend a private primary, secondary, or postsecondary school. Students who reside in the South Hampton Roads area of Virginia are encouraged to apply. Students from the Western Tidewater region (Isle of Wight County, Southampton County, Franklin, and Suffolk) receive special consideration.
