The Express-News Charitable Scholarship program is available to students who are residents of and graduated from a high school located in Aransas, Atascosa, Bandera, Bee, Bexar, Blanco, Caldwell, Cameron, Comal, Dimmit, Frio, Gillespie, Gonzalez, Guadalupe, Hayes, Hidalgo, Kendall, Kerr, Kinney, La Salle, Live Oak, Maverick, Medina, Nueces, Uvalde, Val Verde, Webb, Wilson, or Zapata counties in Texas. Students who are seeking a degree in journalism or communications on a full-time basis are encouraged to apply.
