The Families of Freedom Scholarship provides educational funding to dependent children, spouses, or domestic partners of 9/11 victims, including airplane crew, passengers, World Trade Center and Pentagon workers and visitors; relief workers, including firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and law enforcement personnel who were involved in the rescue efforts. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need.
