Requirements
  • This program is open to graduating seniors at high schools in Texas who have been actively participating in 4-H during the current year and at least 2 of the 3 previous years.
  • Applicants must be in the top half of their class, and have taken and passed all standardized tests necessary for graduation and admittance to the college or university of their choice.
  • They must be planning to attend a 4year college or university in Texas to major in agriculture or life sciences.
  • Selection is based on 4H experience and narratives (50%), GPA (5%), SAT/ACT score (23%), financial need (12%), and a personal interview (10%).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
