The Fast Forward Scholarship supports graduating high school seniors from the Aspen to Parachute region of Colorado who are pursuing a one- or two-year technical or vocational certification or associate degree. Students seeking workforce training in programs such as health care, skilled trades, technology, culinary arts, or other eligible fields are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Attending Bridges or Roaring Fork high schools in Carbondale, Glenwood Springs or Yampah Mountain high schools in Glenwood Springs, Aspen High School in Aspen, Basalt High School in Basalt, Coal Ridge High School in New Castle, Grand Valley High School in Parachute, or Rifle High School in Rifle, Colorado
  • High school senior or GED recipient
  • Seeking a professional certification or associate degree fulltime
  • Studying a technical or vocational program such as welding, electrical engineering technology, CAD/CAM systems, cosmetology, dental assisting, health care assisting, radiation tech, auto mechanics, culinary arts, physical therapy, or veterinary technician
  • Exhibit good character and dedication to succeed in selected program
