The Fish and Wildlife Scholarship supports Homer-area students in Alaska pursuing higher education in wildlife and/or fisheries. Applicants who plan to pursue a career in fish and wildlife biology or management are eligible to apply. Special consideration is given to students who plan to work in Alaska after completing their program.

  • Resident of Homer, Kachemak, Kenai, Seldovia, Seward, or Soldotna, Alaska
  • Graduate or GED recipient from a school within the Homer Foundation service area in Alaska
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Studying wildlife and/or fisheries
  • Planning to pursue a career in fish and wildlife biology or management
  • Aged 19 or younger Preference is given to students who plan to work in Alaska after completing their program.
