Requirements

This program is open to 1) active-duty, Reserve, honorably-discharged veterans, and retired members of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard; and 2) their spouses, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as fulltime undergraduate or graduate students, but neither they nor their family members are required to be members of the sponsoring organization.

Selection is based on academic record, financial need, extracurricular activities, leadership skills, and participation in community activities.

U.S. citizenship is required.
