The Fletcher & Fritzi Hoffmann Educational Scholarship program supports residents of the Hamakua Coast on the island of Hawaii. Fletcher Hoffmann worked for many years for Honoka'a Sugar Company and Fritzi Hoffmann was a nurse at the Honoka'a Hospital. Their desire in setting up this scholarship was to benefit the youth of the families who were impacted by the closing of the sugar plantations.

Seeking a professional certification or associate degree on the island of Hawaii

Demonstrate financial need Preference may be given to students who have graduated from Honoka'a High School in Hawai'i.
