The Flores Stanley Endowed Scholarship is open to students at any of the campuses of the Alamo Colleges District. Students seeking a certificate or degree in an industrial or construction skilled trade (or planning to transfer) are encouraged to apply. Residents of Kerr County, Texas, receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Attending any college in the Alamo Colleges District (Northeast Lakeview, Northwest Vista, Palo Alto, San Antonio, St. Philip's)
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate degree, or transfer to a 4year college or university
  • Studying in industrial or construction skilled trades, such as industrial technology (manufacturing or instrumentation), construction management, welding, diesel technology, the electrical trades, HVAC, aviation maintenance, or plumbing trades
  • Full or parttime student
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who reside in Kerr County, Texas.
