The Florida Eastern Star Student Higher Education Scholarship is available to students at colleges, universities, vocational, technical schools, and commercial schools in Florida who have been residents of Florida and members of the Order of the Eastern Star or be the child or grandchild of a 5-year member. Students planning to pursue post-secondary education will be considered. Special consideration is given to undergraduate students who have completed two years of college, entering as juniors or seniors, and special consideration is also given to students who are members of the Order or who have a parent who is a member.

Requirements
  • Member of Order of the Eastern Star, or their child or descendant
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • The student and the member have been residents of Florida for at least 5 years
  • Undergraduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Attending a 24 year college or university in Florida
  • Student to be sponsored by the Florida Order of the Eastern Star chapter
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to undergraduate students who have completed two years of college, entering as juniors or seniors, and preference is also given to students who are members of the Order or who have a parent who is a member.
