The Florida Gold Seal CAPE Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors who reside in Florida. Students who are planning to attend postsecondary institutions in Florida that offer an applied technology diploma, technical degree education program, or career certificate program that are approved for the Career and Professional Education (CAPE) program are eligible to apply.

Requirements

Resident of Florida

High school senior

Seeking a professional certification or associate degree that includes a minimum of 5 postsecondary credit hours through CAPE industry certifications that articulate for college credit

Enroll in at least 6 nonremedial semester credit hours

Planning to attend school in Florida

U.S. citizen, conditional permanent resident, FAFSAeligible non-citizen, or permanent resident

Complete 30 hours of community service or 100 hours of paid work experience
