The Florida Transportation Builders' Association Trade Scholarship is awarded to residents of Florida who are either graduating high school seniors or GED recipients whose parent or legal guardian is a member or is employed by a firm that is a member of the Florida Transportation Builders’ Association. Students studying in fields related to welding, electrical, heavy machinery, heavy equipment/diesel mechanics, carpentry, or commercial truck driving are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students enrolled in a program directly related to the road construction industry.

  • Seeking a professional certification or associate degree
  • Studying welding, electrician, heavy machinery operator, heavy equipment/diesel mechanic, carpentry, or commercial truck driving Preference is given to students enrolled in a program related to the road construction industry.
