The Follansbee-Hansen Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of the Greater Sacramento Region who self-identify as LGBTQIA+. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sutter, Yolo, or Yuba counties, California
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Asexual, bisexual, gay, genderqueer, intersex, lesbian, nonbinary, prefer to selfidentify, transgender, transgender female to male, transgender male to female, or two-spirit
  • Demonstrate their commitment to serving the 2SLGBTQIA+ community
