The Fox Chapel Education Fund/The Nancy Jane Edelman Scholarship is for graduating seniors or graduates of Fox Chapel Area High School pursuing a degree or studies in math or science. Applicants interested in any and all majors and focus areas that relate to math or science are encouraged to apply. Students who plan to teach math or science in public schools receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Current graduating senior or graduate of Fox Chapel Area High School, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  • Pursuing a degree or studies in the broad fields of math or physical/natural science (astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth science, physics)
  • Planning to attend a college, university, vocational school, or trade school as a fulltime student
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Proven ability to work with others and concern for others Preference will be given to students who plan to teach math or science in public schools.
