The Frank and Lin Berris Scholarship provides financial assistance to American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA) or American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) members in Michigan demonstrating financial need. Graduating high school seniors and undergraduate students seeking a professional certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Students studying for a professional certificate, micro-credential, or associate degree must be in equine studies.

Requirements
  • Member of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) OR, - American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA)
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of Michigan
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Studying for a professional certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree in any field OR,
  • Studying for an associate degree, microcredential, or professional certificate in equine studies
  • Fulltime student
  • Participation in equestrian sports or leadership
