Requirements
  • This program is open to north state residents who are enrolled or planning to enroll full time at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must 100word statements on 1) their high school and/or college activities, such as athletics, drama, music, art, journalism, or science; 2) their non-school activities, such as club, civic, church, environmental, and other interests; 3) their short, intermediate, and long-term personal goals; and 4) what they consider the most satisfying achievement of their career.
  • They must also submit 3 letters of recommendation, transcripts, a resume of their work history, information on their educational or trade school objective, and a 200word essay on an aspect of good citizenship, either theirs or someone else's, that affects their goals and/or education.
