Frank J. Strazzarino Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of the northernmost counties of California who are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to north state residents who are enrolled or planning to enroll full time at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must 100word statements on 1) their high school and/or college activities, such as athletics, drama, music, art, journalism, or science; 2) their non-school activities, such as club, civic, church, environmental, and other interests; 3) their short, intermediate, and long-term personal goals; and 4) what they consider the most satisfying achievement of their career.

They must also submit 3 letters of recommendation, transcripts, a resume of their work history, information on their educational or trade school objective, and a 200word essay on an aspect of good citizenship, either theirs or someone else's, that affects their goals and/or education.
