The Frank M. Cahoon Memorial Scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors who reside in Dare County, North Carolina. Students who are planning to pursue a career in the field of law enforcement, criminal justice, or law are encouraged to apply. Applicants with financial need and dependents of a member of a law enforcement agency or branch of the criminal justice system operating in Dare County receive special consideration.
