Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who live in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Applicants must 1) be currently enrolled in or have graduated in the past year from a high school that offers quality culinary education coursework, or 2) have at least 400 hours of restaurant/food service work or internship experience.

They must have a GPA of 2.75 or rank in the top third of their class.

Their career goal must include acceptance into a fulltime culinary/hospitality-related postsecondary program with plans to enroll at least 4 semesters.
