The Franz Stenzel M.D. and Kathryn Stenzel Scholarship supports Oregon graduates, including GED recipients and home-schooled students, as they continue their postsecondary education. Students studying medicine, nursing, or physician assistant programs who plan to enroll at least part time at a college or university in the United States are encouraged to apply.

  • Graduate of an Oregon high school, or homeschooled, or earned a GED in Oregon
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree, full or parttime
  • Studying medicine, nursing, or medical/physician assistant
  • Plan to attend a public or private, nonprofit, Title IV postsecondary school in the United States
  • U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
