The Fred & Gloria Thaut Webber Scholarship supports students who are current or former residents of Big Horn or Carbon counties in Montana, or current or former students of Custer Public Schools in Yellowstone County, Montana. Current or former 4-H participants are welcome to apply. Those preparing for a career in education, agriculture, agriculture-business, or agriculture engineering receive special consideration.

  • Minimum 2.75 GPA for high school, minimum 2.5 GPA for college and nontraditional students
  • Current or former resident of Big Horn or Carbon counties in Montana or current or former student of Custer Public Schools in Yellowstone County, Montana
  • High school senior, undergraduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Fulltime student
  • Participation in church activities, community service, or extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students preparing for a career in education, agriculture, agriculturebusiness, or agriculture engineering.
