Fresh Country Scholarship provides financial assistance to FFA members in New Mexico who have participated in specified fundraising activities and plan to study any field at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in New Mexico with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Applicants must have been members of FFA for at least 2 years and their chapter must have participated in a Fresh Country fundraiser.
  • They must be planning to enroll at a college or university in any state to major in any field.
  • Separate programs are offered for students attending a college that is a sales partner of Fresh Country and those attending a nonsales partner school.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement (30 points), leadership (30 points), community service (10 points), and having an FFA Supervised Agricultural Experience (6 points).
