Requirements
  • This program is open to upper-division undergraduates and master's degree students in a college program designed to prepare them for teaching journalism at the secondary school level.
  • Current secondary school journalism teachers who are in a degree program to improve their journalism teaching skills are also eligible.
  • Applicants must submit a 250word essay explaining their desire to teach high school journalism, a list of journalism courses they have completed and their grade in each, and a short essay on their high school journalism experience.
