The Future Lawyers Scholarship is available to first-year law students enrolled at an ABA-accredited law school who are residents of Miami-Dade or Broward County in Florida. Students with a strong interest in securities litigation, commercial, or financial law are eligible to apply. Recipients are chosen for their demonstration of financial need.

  • Minimum 3.50 GPA
  • Resident of Broward or MiamiDade counties, Florida
  • Firstyear law student at an ABA-accredited law school

  • Participation in community service, leadership, or diversity initiatives through involvement in law school or other communitybased initiatives
  • Have a strong interest in securities litigation, commercial, or financial law
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate financial need
