About the Scholarship

The Gabby Matthes Memorial Scholarship is available to graduating seniors or graduates of Freeman High School in Adams, Nebraska, or any high school in Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Pawnee, or, Saline counties in Nebraska (Lincoln Public Schools are excluded) Students who have participated in extracurricular activities and community service are welcome to apply.

  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Graduating high school senior or former graduate of Freeman High School in Adams, Nebraska, or any high school located in Gage, Lancaster, Jefferson, Saline, Johnson, or Pawnee Counties, Nebraska (with exception to Lancaster Public Schools)
  • Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, music, sports, theater arts, or visual arts
