Garland Bastin NAILE Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who exhibit an animal in the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Junior Dairy Show and plan to major in any field at a college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors who exhibit at least 1 animal in the NAILE Junior Dairy Show.
  • Applicants must submit their high school transcript, SAT/ACT scores, a list of leadership positions and offices they have held, a list of honors and awards, a description of their involvement with dairy cattle, and a 500word essay on "The Importance of Show Ring Ethics When Exhibiting Dairy Cattle." Selection is based on that essay (35%), academic awards and achievements (35%), and involvement with dairy cattle (30%).
