GCSAA Legacy Awards provides financial assistance for college to the offspring of members of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).

Requirements
  • This program is open to the children and grandchildren of GCSAA members who have been active in the association for 5 or more consecutive years or are retired or deceased.
  • Applicants may be studying in a field unrelated to golf course management.
  • They must be enrolled fulltime at an accredited institution of higher learning or, in the case of high school seniors, be accepted at such an institution for the next academic year.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular and community involvement, leadership, outside employment, and an original 500word essay on 1 of 8 assigned topics.
  • Financial need is not considered.
