General John Paul Ratay Educational Scholarship provides financial assistance to dependent children of deceased members of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) who are working on an undergraduate degree.

Requirements
  • This program is open to children whose military parents retired and subsequently died.
  • The parent must have been eligible for MOAA membership or been an activeduty, Reserve, National Guard, or retired enlisted military member.
  • Applicants must be younger than 24 years of age.
  • Selection is based on scholastic ability (33%)), extracurricular activities (33%), and financial need (33%).
  • No grants are made for graduate study.
