The George Edgecomb Bar Association Technical College Scholarship provides financial assistance to Black high school seniors in Hillsborough County, Florida, who plan to attend Aparicio-Levy Technical College, Brewster Technical College, Erwin Technical College, or Hillsborough Community College. Students who have overcome adversity related to substance abuse, pregnancy, involvement with the criminal justice system, or other challenging circumstances are encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum 2.50 GPA
  • Resident of Hillsborough County, Florida
  • High school senior from a Hillsborough County Public School in Florida
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Planning to attend Aparicio Levy Technical, Brewster Technical Center, Erwin Technical Center, or Hillsborough Community College
  • African American or Black
  • Completed a minimum of 25 community service hours
  • Overcame adversity with challenges due to substance abuse, pregnancy, crime, or other troubled situations
  • Demonstrate financial need
