The George G. Johnson Scholarship is awarded to African-American male students who wish to pursue a degree in accounting or finance. Students attending the Mike Illitch School of Business at Wayne State University are encouraged to apply.

  • Participation in community service, extracurricular activities, leadership, or work
  • Demonstrate good character Employees of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan and their dependents, members of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan Board of Trustees and their dependents as well as the members of the Scholarship Advisory Committee and their dependents are ineligible for this scholarship.
