George L. Patt Scholarship provides financial assistance to veterans and Reservists in Illinois who are preparing for a career in real estate at a college or university in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Illinois enrolled at a school in the state.

Applicants must be either 1) veterans working on an undergraduate college or university degree in the field of real estate; or 2) active Reservists or Guard members studying real estate administration to establish themselves as an association executive in a realtor organization.

Selection is based on the applicant's record of military service, record of academic achievement, course of study and career goals, references and recommendations, and financial need.

Finalists are interviewed.
